Live campaign Central Arkansas Route 01

15 Day Expansion Campaign

Central Arkansas Expansion Route

Checkpoint is preparing to move lifesaving access, trusted connection, and field level overdose prevention farther into Central Arkansas.

Anchored by Bridge the Gap 2026 on August 29 at North Little Rock Riverfront Park.

This expansion is guided by direct community outreach and local input. More than 10 people across at least five rural communities have reached out asking for practical access, reliable information, and support from someone they can trust.

02 / The signal

The requests are already moving south.

Checkpoint is beginning this route because people are already asking for naloxone access, overdose prevention support, and stronger resource connection beyond Northwest Arkansas.

Incoming request area

Hot Springs

Local advocates are identifying gaps in visible naloxone access, information, and dependable community connection.

Incoming request area

Lonoke County

A direct request for naloxone access showed why people need a clearer pathway to lifesaving supplies outside existing service centers.

Incoming request area

Fort Smith

A resident request from Fort Smith reinforced the need for clearer regional connections to naloxone access, practical information, and trusted support.

Route development area

Central Arkansas

Bridge the Gap creates a responsible place to listen, meet recovery partners, and explore future Access Point relationships before promising expansion.

Expansion is not a pin on a map. It is trust, supply, follow through, and a reason to return.

Checkpoint will not announce locations before local relationships are ready. The first job is to listen, identify what already exists, understand what is missing, and determine where Checkpoint can add value without duplicating work.

The Northwest Arkansas network remains protected. Alpine Liquor secured the event position before this campaign launched, allowing campaign support to focus on the route instead of pulling from current naloxone and Access Point work.

03 / Field plan

One event. Three stages. A route built to continue.

Bridge the Gap is the anchor, not the finish line. The route is designed to create useful connections before the event, do real work on site, and continue the follow through afterward.

Next, see what campaign support moves

04 / Funding and accountability

Every dollar should move the route forward.

$500Campaign support goal

Already secured

Alpine Liquor in Eureka Springs covered the $150 Bridge the Gap vendor fee through a previous Access Point donation. The campaign goal can support the route itself.

01

Travel and fuel

Move people, naloxone access information, outreach supplies, and equipment between Northwest and Central Arkansas.

02

Lodging and route work

Create enough time on the ground for the event, partner conversations, scouting, and responsible follow through.

03

Materials and setup

Support printing, resource information, table needs, outreach materials, and the practical tools required to represent the work clearly.

04

Access Point development

Support follow up conversations, readiness checks, future restocking plans, and the next responsible steps after the event.

Public follow through

Support deserves a report.

Checkpoint will publish the total raised and a route update after the trip, including the work completed, connections made, and next steps identified.

If campaign support exceeds immediate route costs, remaining support will continue funding Central Arkansas follow up, overdose prevention outreach, Access Point development, and future route work.
